My Station

Rigs

I use an Icom 7300 as my HF Rig, and a QYT Tri-band VHF/UHF Mobile on 2m, 220MHz and 70cm.

I also have a Yaesu FT-60R HT for handheld VHF ops, as well as a couple of older rigs from my previous incarnations as a Ham.

Tuner
I use an MFJ-974B tuner, but with my main antenna I don't need it much, as my main antenna is resonant for almost all the bands I care about.

I used to have a horizontal loop antenna (which is why the balanced tuner), but it was a lot of trouble, and not a great performer for my needs.
Antennas

My HF Antenna is a DX Commander all-band vertical. This is an amazing antenna, which I highly recommend, and lets me work pretty much all HF bands, even 160m (a bit).

I'm planning an inverted-L for 160 in the future.

I use a J-Pole antenna for VHF. I only have it up about 20ft at the moment, so I get mixed results. Hoping to get it up higher soon.

Below you can see my junction box with lightning protection, by K7FP - which I also highly recommend!
